The story of how a young woman, immersed in home comfort and quiet family joys, suddenly becomes aware of herself as a person and decides on a bold act for the 19th century — she leaves her rich husband and goes nowhere, defending her right to freedom and independence — is transferred in the play to the future. The performance will include not only the author’s classical text, but also the actors' monologues, in which they share their thoughts on the issues raised by the play.
