The film is the winner of the Russian competition of the international film festival "Message to man"

Gromov, a student study film, tells the story of a political activist who participated in protests against reforms in Russia and was sentenced to three years in prison for throwing a portrait of Vladimir Putin out of an administrative building. In the film we see him already released from prison, trying to start a new life, but unable to give up his political struggle.
